Janelle Lorenzen is an artist and photographer living in Holland, OH. In 2002 Janelle graduated with a Bachelor’s of Fine Art in Media Studies with a concentration in Photography from the Columbus College of Art and Design. While at CCAD, Janelle learned traditional wet darkroom techniques, alternative processing, and contemporary digital photography techniques along with core art and design courses.
Since earning her degree, Janelle’s work mainly consists of portrait, cityscape, travel, nature, and landscape fine art photography. She enjoys experimenting with new techniques and digital processes. In addition to her fine art photography, Janelle is currently exploring mixed media, painting, sculpture and assemblage art work.
Janelle’s work has been displayed in many exhibitions including ‘Tis the Secor, PRIZM’s Art in Public Places program, Artomatic 419, and the 2009 Toledo Area Artist’s exhibition at the Toledo Museum of Art.
